A group of Carpenters are visiting an aircraft factory and they are taken through the development areas and heavy manufacturing Shops.
On spotting a huge Lathe along one of the Machine Shop lanes, one of the carpenters stops to study its complexity, with that look of vague familiarity and slight wonderment.
The Tour Guide stands beside him and says,
“This is one of the finest Lathes in Europe and it can be programmed to take measurements of less than one millionth of an Inch”
“That’s as maybe” says the Carpenter “…but in my job thats not good enough! I have to be Spot-On!”.
