B737 Standby Hydraulic System and PTU

Hi guys, I am a little bit confused by the B737 standby hydraulic system and PTU
The standby hydraulic system supply hydraulic to L/E flaps and slat using the FLT CONTROL switches or the ALTERNATE FLAPS arm switch;
Whilst, power transfer unit (PTU) system supplies pressure for the L/E flaps and slats as hydraulic system B low pressure

From the wiring diagram/schematic diagram -
PTU control valve closed (stop supply to PTU) when standby hydraulic system supply the L/E slat and flap

My confusion is - so is that correct that PTU stop supplying L/E slat and flap system when standby hydraulic system supply L/E slat and flap ?
