Vigilante - roll control

Hi, I believe the A-3J / A-5 / RA-5 had a unique form of roll control, can anyone point me to something that will tell me / show me what this is? Best regards Mark

If you go to this site you will fi d a fairly detailed description.

www.bobjellison.com.ra5c

If that fails just do a search for RA5C vigilante and you will find the bob jellison site?

Try this link: RA-5C Vigilante History

Roll control using spoilers isn't unique to the Vigilante, the B-52 is another type that uses this and the Mitsubishi MU-2 another. The combination of spoilers and all moving fin and tailplanes may be unique.
