Good Morning All

I'm looking for direction please.
I’ve had my Basic licence since March, but I’m still in a fitters role.
Can anybody point me in the right direction where I can find what privileges a basic licence holder can do. (I know it’s nothing) but can I obtain a local Auth from my company?

Or is it down the my company just to issue a local auth so at least I can sign for my own flight servicing. Is there a qualifying time period ?

1st. Make sure you have signed your Licence
2nd. Check your Licence but I'm sure it will include a CAT A Licence too
3rd. Make sure your quality dept and maintenance management know you now have a brand new Licence and its expiry date.
4th. Let it be known you can conduct Line Maintenance duties (if there are any)
5th. Keep your nose clean and do the work required to a high standard...

There is no time period for getting a type - all basic AMLs can be renewed after the 5 year period - even without types. You just need to pay the money.
