New Zealand Aircraft Engineers Licence

Can anyone from or who has been to New Zealand as an Aircraft Engineer advise whether I would be able to work and sign with my EASA B1.1/B1.3 or I'd have to convert it to an NZCAA licence?

I know I can convert it, by sitting Air Leg and Human Factors modules, but I don't know if it is a legal requirement.

I'm typed on Eurcopter and Sikorsky heavy rotorcraft.

Thanks.

Ya, me too

Helicopterfixerman - It's been awhile since you posted this. Looks like you prefer helos but here's a job announcement you might look at that says they (NZ) take EASA licenses. Maybe this is the standard in NZ.

Engineering Job: 737 Classic B1 Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer 737 Classic B1 Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Rishworth Aviation

I'm trying to get work in NZ too but not sure if my FAA A&P will transfer or how to transfer.

Good luck to you!

It's all on the interweb

Recognition of Foreign AME Licences

EASA should be just Air law and maybe human factors.

FAA A&P not recognised.
