Engineering Work Experience/Placememt

Hey
I've just finished my Alevels and need some engineering experience during my gap year.
Anyone got any knowlegde of good companies or websites for this?

What kind of engineering... Aircraft? Engines? Electrical? Component? Design? Maintenance? Manufacture?

Knowing that may help people point you in the right direction.

but any experience in engineering would be fab

Wondered why no one has replied?? Whats up with a 'YINI'....surely you would be spending another 50 in the industry if you are accepted in it? Though I doubt that would occur would it?

Search for "gradcracker" on google. They have a good list of companies you might be interested in.

BAE Systems, Jaguar and land rover, DESG, DSTL, QinetiQ... There are A LOT of companies and the majority offer apprenticeships.
