cross bar vs V bar

hi,

does anybody know if it is possible to change the flight director information from V bar to cross bar and viceversa via efis, fms, or other means?
it is related to md80 instrumentation.
thanks

Don't know MD80 but other aircraft I've worked on this has been a "pin program" option - you have to change wiring to select what to draw on the EFIS.

You'll need to check that its' legal for you to do such a change too,
as the V-Bars vs Cross-Pointers might well be written into your
country/regulatory authority AFM supplement for the aeroplane.
