Self spent 10 months living on Flinders in the late 1980's. Lovely island, but since I was from the mainland, I feel I never really fitted in. Flew mostly abalone around between St Helens and Launceston, but FLI based. All in all, great memories however FLI tended to be a tad quiet compared to LST overnights!

Apparently they used to fly a 206 in and out of Merimbula with Abs on board. Not sure if they still fly into merimbula though. Alot of water to be flying a single over if you ask me

Last time i was in EN I think a Trilander was carting some fish or cray fish freight, it might have been going to FLI?

If this job is with an established operator on the island (there are still 2 i think) be careful! enuf said
