Qantas to replace Impulses B1900s(not all of them)
Due to passenger dislike of the B1900 Qantas is to replace them on services to the Sunshine Coast, Maryborough and Hervey Bay with the Shorts 360. From what I hear the Sunstate Shorts 360 will be sold to Mac-air Airlines and they will operate the flights.

Following on from the Ansett regional thread, maybe Sunshine Express might takeover these routes in their Shorts!

Frequent SLF on old Impulse B1900 and now getting the hours up so I can commute myself as an "SFF". Can't believe it.
I bloody well loved those planes! So quick to go, pilots would often pick some great low routes between the hills on second hops up the NSW Nth coast, and lots of fun watching the yaw on approach. :p |
Yeah, right. Just what MAC**AIR needs. Another type to add to it's misery.
