I think the green licensing book is to "comply" with some ICAO standard. You'll find your medical fits into it now. The UK CAA issues a license book nearly identical to the CASA one.

I did encounter initial shock and then curiosity when hiring a C172 in Reykjavik, Iceland when I pulled out my little plastic credit card CPL licence. Took a bit to convince them that I was serious!
It is much easier to have all your Endorsements, Ratings etc in the one book. |
