From a desperate AN employee - where the heck is my pay?
 

Does any one know if we are getting paid for the work we have done up to Friday 14th?
I realise we must wait until the govt gets there **** together and we get (if we are lucky) our entitlements. But, I would have hoped that we could have been paid on Friday.
I was permanent part time and NEED the cash. I have less than a grand in the bank and $600 worth of bills and rent to pay next week. 2 weeks more wages can get me over the hump and give me more time to find a job. They owe us that at least OR is the govt gonna **** around talking about it?
I know I am not the only victim but if you can help with advice or contacts of people who can give answers it would help alot of us. :confused:

Unsecured creditors are the last to be paid and the money stops flowing when the flying stops. There will be many other creditors where money will still be owed in arrears to oil companies and the like.

I appreciate your financial circumstances and you are certainly not alone. I understand that there will be a lot of people in NYC that are in a similar financial position to your self.

Happen to know that some, if not all, Ansett pilots were actually paid for a whole month, unfortunately, the regional pilots were not that lucky.

I'd be happy with the 2 weeks they owe us at the moment, however that hasn't even gone in the bank. Anyone have any idea when KD is to be paid?

BPH - Should be by Monday (17/9) or Tuesday (18/9).

the pay sistuation is this......there isn't any, everyone I know from customer service, and flight attendants, have not been paid, it was due yesterday for ground staff, something about Monday now, you know they'lll be lucky if they get it!

And don't believe what the media are saying. Not all of AN's workers were paid today, & that includes moir!! :mad: :mad:

Word is Monday 24th ?
That is all I know, as per usual no one tells us any thing we have to find out ourselves. Heres hopin.... :confused:

This morning (Fri 0900), received a slightly less than half basic salary,.......off to the pub, I wish !
