PPRuNe Forums - The Regionals: Constructive input

Now that the forum has cooled down and most of the jet pilots have had the answers to thier immediate future given to them, its time for all of us to try and support the regional drivers.. .So what will become of Skywest, Flightwest, Kendells and Hazo's.. .1. I believe that flightwest is close to being sold with 4 partners and that the F100 is more prominent in the plans than the Braz. Maybe operating with DJ over the old Cairns-Darwin route. Will they take on sunnies again?. .. .2.Skywest are looking at jets and possibly doing a deal with DJ or the Red rat but the management are more worried about the little details rather than putting bums on seats.. .. .3. Kend and Hazo are both close to being sold with the CRJ commitee very close to having a plausable bussiness plan to feed DJ on light routes.I also believ that KD are breaking even over the whole route structure but SY is still losing money. . .. .4. So there you go all of us that are ex regional try and get some good guff to give the regional people a ray of hope.. .. .Cheers.
