Apparently, APA is involved in legal action to "ensure staff payouts".

Thanks,M. I just had a look at that site. From what has been written there, I suspect that most APA pilots qualify for loss of licence insurance -that activity is meant to make you blind or insane!

In light of the topic "Virgin Blue discrimination" I wish suggest that it would be prudent for a group of you to have the APA accounts audited NOW.. .. .It would not surprise me in the least, if a very small group of mr Otto's ilk intend using what may be a considerable sum of money still left, to mount and fund a legal battle. . .A legal battle that has NO benefit for the MAJORITY of ex-Ansett pilots, but one that will rapidly dispose of YOUR MONEY!. .. .Perhaps an action to IMMEDIATELY FREEZE ALL REMAINING FUNDS, whilst a determination is made as to your entitlements, and an investigation as to where the monies have IN FACT gone.. .It shouldn't be too hard to track down when one sees that there is only the "President" and 2 or 3 other "officials".. .. .But get on to it TODAY!

Yes - all you "scabettes" - those who joined after THE "date", need to get a rapid injunction on that cash in the APA.

Get a life folks, or at least some psychological councelling. To be carrying this much bitterness after 13 years is not healthy. Some of you seem to have forgetten that the dispute ended when you resigned, voluntarily, if I remember correctly .

Tool Time,. .. .Sound advice but many juniors moved on.. .. .You`re an imposter too.. .. .Hope the false claims of being an 89er aren`t as vengefully pursued as those who falsely claimed military service in Vietnam.. . . . [ 25 March 2002, 12:12: Message edited by: Duck Muck ]

Fubaar - it's OK mate. Muckey Duck gets his "inside info" on posters to this forum from google.com. He'll get some effective medication one of these days.

I still don’t understand the Vietnam faux ‘vets’ reference versus the “false claims of an 89er”. . .. .Actually, I don’t understand any of the quote. “…vengefully pursued…”???. .. .Can someone explain?

Tool Time has implied on many occassions all Ansett pilots are scabs.Even the many sons of 89ers who joined ANs ranks well into the 90s.. .. .His vitriolic posts have me convinced he is an imposter. My suspicions arise from having known a few 89ers who are proud of their actions and how history will judge them. They have no grudges against the following generation.. .. .Reference Vietnam Veterans. There has been a generation of people falsely claiming service to boost whatever. There has been well documented cases of rough justice against these imposters by veterans` motorcycle gangs.. .. .The analogy, well 89 was a bitter war too.. .. .I doubt whether an imposter with Nazi like attitudes is with whom some would like to be associated.

Duck Muck, thanks for the explanation – although I think you’re drawing a rather long bow in making the parallel. While not too many 89ers would particularly like your bikie gang analogy, I’m sure that more than a few currently highly aggrieved ‘heroes’ would agree with you totally as they have their own convenient selective memory loss about their own ‘veteran’ status in a more recent and also very bitter ‘war’. . .. .Just a quick question on your last paragraph… To paraphrase W.S. Churchill, I think that the way you’ve written your message, (carefully avoiding ending the sentence with a preposition), is written in a way up with which most readers will not put.
