Links in Chat
 

Using XP home with SP1 and IE 6. something

From time to time chatters post links to elaborate on or emphasise what they are talking about.

These links seem to work reliably for everyone except me, I click on them and very rarely do they work.
I would guess that only about 1 or 2 % of those I click on take me to to the posted url.

I have no problems with links in the forums , email, etc, just in chat.
Can anyone suggest why this is so and how I can make them work as intended ?
