yahoo access at home denied

I have a friend visiting from the US .She can access her yahoo email account ftom UK with no problem at all ......her problem is that she CANNOT access the same account from her home computer in Pennsylvania.This seems odd to me ..any pprooners had the same or similar ?? Any help would be appreciated Thanks

Is she using yahoo.com or yahoo.co.uk in both attempts? I

have a yahoo.com address but can't log-in on the yahoo.co.uk page - only works on the .com site.

She is using her .com address ....which she tells me is the only one she has.Thanks for the thoughts.

I have a yahoo.com address. I find I can access it via Y.co.uk and even .au - it doesn't seem to matter what yahoo site I am in.

So, can't help at all - sorry.
