Logging on to Windows 98

Having a spot of bother with logging on. Awile ago I tried to create another user for the computer then deleted it. Now, on startup it opens to windows with no logon screen . In order to get to my own settings I have to log off this initial screen then log on again with my password and there I am. How do I make it so that it opens up initally with the log on screen in the first instance?

Try Control Panel, Network settings. Add the Microsoft Family logon service.. then restart.
