Is there a problem with the chat room or is it just me?
 

Whenever I have clicked on the chat room link in the last month or so, whether it be from the forums or the home page, I'm confronted with the following:

You do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
You do not have permission to access the page that you were trying to. Are you trying to edit someone else's post or trying to access administrative features? Check that you are allowed to perform this action in the Forum Rules.
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I've logged in, set my cookies to medium and yet still it happens. Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong, or am I missing some fundamental change to the chat room login regulations that has passed me by?

Check java is active first.
