Visited links don't change colour.
WinXP, IE6.
Used to be when I read a thread on Pprune the link to that thread (on the forum page) would change colour - in my case from blue to mauve/purple or whatever. Now they don't change, they all stay blue, so it's harder to keep track of where I've been in a session. (There is a memory problem and it's not in the computer :o). This seems to be peculiar to Pprune - in other websites links change colour once they are visited. Any ideas as to how I might fix that? Again, your help greatly appreciated. Cheers AA |

You can't. The latest version of PPRuNe uses stylesheets to control ('nail') the colours. viz: A:link, A:visited, A:active {COLOR: #000080;} A:hover { COLOR: #000080;} #ltlink A:link, #ltlink A:visited, #ltlink A:active {COLOR: #000080; TEXT-DECORATION: none;} #ltlink A:hover {COLOR: #000080; TEXT-DECORATION: underline;} Older versions of Netscape allowed you to disable stylesheets, I don't think IE ever did. |
Thanks PT. I guess that's progress :(
