Using PPRuNe
 

Can't find any reference to using PPRuNe for TOTAL idiots like myself .

I refer to such things as importing external text or pictures to posts , importing quotes from other posts to ones own post , using italics/bold type/coloured type , what does vB code do , how do I change my login name , how do I change registration details (especially if needed to enable some of the previous points herein) etc etc.

Is anyone aware of a source of such information , please ?

Alternatively , can anyone please produce a simple guide ?

wherever you go, whatever you browse, a good site has always a section called f requently a sked q uestions,
on this site here you can find this section above your posting in the row with the small blue words....
click on faq and most answers are there already....still need more? No problem, just ask after consulting the mentioned help text.

vB Code is nothing else as a simple technique to provide a user with easy formatting tools. There is also help provided on how to use this feature.

If you can't find an answer that you're looking for let me know and I will do my very best to answer.
