How to remove hotmail link to windows?
 

Hello,

I can't remember how I did this, but I've somehow linked windows to hotmail. The login to my computer is the hotmail password and as emails come in to hotmail they ping up on the bottom right of the screen. Please does anyone know how to stop this?

Do you normally access Hotmail through something an e-mail system such as MS Outlook, or do you go to the Hotmail website (now stupidly also called Outlook)?

What is your objection? Is it the pop up on your screen or a 'new mail' sound?

Presumably you're wanting to revert to a local account (where you select or enter a user name and password)?
