My faithful old Dell recently keeled over and I had to download the latest SRWare Iron to this machine.

I use Iron mainly to get my Gmail account and each startup is accompanied by a warning that 'this version is no longer supported' and offering an update TO GOOGLE CHROME !

Is this a case of Google throwing a hissy fit because it's Iron and not Chrome?

Amendment to the above - it's offering a search for "a suitable browser" because Iron is no longer supported.
