Outlook .pst file
 

After formatting HDD, I successfully recovered files .pst, but when I try to open a file outlook.pst an error "file outlook.pst is not a file of personal data outlook"
Can anything be done about the thread there are any tools from MS Office for error-checking, scanpst not help too and does not want to open the file.
Accept any proposal as the e-mail is a very important.

You may need to use outlook to import the .pst file instead of opening it. that way it will register the information in the outlook database.

The usual trick is to rename the file "backup.pst" and then use the outlook file menu to import the backup. It will then add the contents of your file to the data file it already contains.
