WARNING TomTom App update iPhone 4
 

Probably not too many of you using an iPhone 4 and a TomTom app, but just in case.

Do not install the latest update version 1.22. The updated app just hangs when opening. There is a workaround, entering " tomtomhome://geo " in Safari will launch the App, but without favourites or recent destinations. And you need to do this every time you want to use the App.

On the TomTom web site https://en.discussions.tomtom.com/to...ml#post1060475 there is a discussion on this. Yesterday TT announced that v1.22.1 had been posted to the App Store but that's not true. It's not in the UK, Australia or Swiss stores. It might be on the Dutch store but ...

I'll post here again if/when the problem is fixed.

Version 1.22.1 now on App Store and appears to be working.
