Deleting Gmails ?
Is there any way to delete a bulk of Gmails without first having to "select" each one individually, e.g. I can't find a command to "select all", like 200 plus "promotions" that I have just spent the better part of sometime deleting ?
I first of all had to select all 200+ one at a time, then the whole selection was sent to the Bin, where I had to do it all again. Once "selected" then they can be deleted in one stroke, it is the selection that takes the time. Life's too short. |
If you click on More to the left on your inbox there is an All Mail selection - don't know what it offers.

Near the top and far left is a button with an empty box and a downward arrow it. Click that and choose all, which then ticks all the boxes and you can press the dustbin button. Only a page at a time though.

Thanks guys, I'll have to wait until I've received more cr*p before I can try your suggestions !

I've set up Mac Mail to manage gmail accounts and it's great. 'Select all' in the junk file and erase, same with trash.
