Missing camera change icon on I phone

My iPhone camera is stuck on "Selfie" and the change over icon in the top right of the screen has disappeared. I have tried all re-set options without success. Please may have any suggestion, before I trek off to an Apple Store? Thank you

Are you sure you're not in 'slo-mo' or 'pano' modes ? The switch button his hid in those modes ?

What software version ? What iPhone model ?

I guess if you fancied it you could also take a screenshot and post it here ?

As far as I'm aware, there's no option anywhere to disable the camera switch button.
