Start Avast from the desktop?
 

I have removed Avast from Startup because it seemed to be causing some problems, requiring power-down and restart.

What I would like to do is start it from the desktop but the unhelpful config box doesn't show the full path so I don't know which file I need to put a shortcut to on the desktop, in order to start Avast once everything else has settled down.

Any ideas?

Thanks, but I actually unticked it in Config startup so there wasn't any physical deletion took place.
