Google account action required
 

evening all.
I keep getting two yellow warning triangles top left of screen on my phone (sony xperia s) and on my nexus 7. when I open them the first one has the blue google logo and say's action account required, followed by my gmail account address... the second remains as a yellow triangle and say's sign in error, and ask's me to enter my password. each time I do this it reappears. ive changed my passwords and cleared my gmail account cache, it seemed to work for a day or two but then came back again. any ideas? thanks in advance.
