Mjc and others.

I now have item and box in hand.

Is this a i7 processor or a fan / cooler or both ?

On the box it is all i7, nothing about cooler.

The package including internal is cut for item.

A retail CPU comes with a heatsink & fan in the box. Google for images of "i7 retail box". The actual CPU is the flat silver topped thing in the lid of the box.
