PPRuNe "Search this Thread" does not appear to work well

I have tried to find various things in topics (threads) started by me and I get this message:

"Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

despite the fact there are posts that contain the keyword I look for.

If the thread is not started by me then sometimes I can use the option "Search this Thread" and it works, but not all the time.

Are there some restrictions regarding Search?

We throttle search back to idle to ensure a dexent service for those just browsing. Google, limited to PPRuNe in the search string, will do a far better job.
