Adsl

Hi all - can anyone recommend a good (based on price, service and speed of connection) ADSL provider... they all seem much of a muchness on paper...

Cheers!

Pipex are very good. Do some searching in this forum and you'll see a number of positive comments - and, as far as I know, no critics. :)

Alternatively, look at the fora on www.adslguide.org.uk

I am with BT. Had a bit of a problem recently and helpdesk were fine. You buy the modem for £85 then its £29.99 a month on your credit card. Defo go for it, its pretty amazing broadband.

With PIPEX I subscribe to the Home Office package - this gives me 5 usable IP's. All I had to do was get a router which takes 2 mins to setup.

Problem is that the supply of ADSL routers is so limited now thanks to DSL becoming very popular.

5 stars to PIPEX though.
