My password IS "incorrect"
 

My password is the word "incorrect".

So if I make a mistake entering my password, the computer tells me what the password actually is...

Simples.

I dispair. :ugh:

Why not just remove the password altogether.

It would help if you substituted some characters with numerals / special characters and used some upper case.

e.g. 1NC0rR3Ct

I'm informed that the hardest passwords to crack are phrases.

"Your password is incorrect!" would make a better password, but chances are the hackers already have that phrase in their dictionary.
