Help!!!!!! CCleaner deleating Word Recent files

I've played with CC's settings, but it's certainly not a cookies issue. I've told CC not to hit anything in my entire Word directory, but it still erases the entire list of Recent .doc files. Anyone know the settings to stop this happening?

Fearful time constraints make playing with it impossible.

Under the "Applications" tab uncheck Office, or Word, or whatever is listed?

And under "windows explorer" make sure that "recent documents" is unchecked.
