MPEG Layer 3 Audio Files

Hi all looking for some advice please,

I have MPEG Layer 3 Audio recordings that I need to take out sections. Does anyone know of a program that will allow me to do this easily please?

Yes, I'd endorse Audacity. It's not the most intuitive piece of software but, once you get used to it, it does do the business and has the added attraction of saving your reworked file in a wide range of formats. It's also free!
