Livestreaming woes
 

I was at my parents house and watching live stream from a local channel. The image kept buffeting so I close down the page and try to open it again but it did not work.

When I returned at my place and I open the page of the local channel the livestream worked perfectly. I use a different internet provider if that is important.

Could any one provide help with understanding why in my parents place the page does not work?

what is the speed of your parents internet connection?
how is it delivered?

Milo thanks for the answer. In both cases Internet is coming through the phone company (in my parents they have VOIP FWIW) but with different phone companies. This morning I am back at my parents place and the first thing I did was to unplug the router for few minutes and power it again. It worked for over two hours but I am not sure if there is a correlation.
