Annoying Firefox problem
I am unable to remove a URL from the address bar. What I mean is that when I type in the first letters, it completes it for me. I have cleared all history, gone to 'forget this site' in history, and there is no cookie for this site, and yet it still comes up.
It's not a big deal, but it's a banking site (yes, that's banking with a 'b'!) but there is a potential for others to use this machine and I'd rather it weren't there. I'm using Firefox 17.0.1 and W7. Any idea how I can remove it? Thanks. |
Go to tools>options click on the privacy tab, at the bottom, select the drop down menu in the 'location bar' section and select 'do nothing' click apply and then ok.
