advertising screwing up pprune?

Everytime I try to access chat or pprune mail, I get following...

http://www.ppruneadvertising.com/cgi...ssi.cgi?iframe

Followed by the "cannot find server" error.

Is this my pc or something with the new software?

the link you posted here is in fact the link to advertisement and banners, this way PPRuNe receives some £ as a referrer.

The link to the mail should read http://pprune.mail.everyone.net/ and leads to the mail-front page.

I am not sure whether this link has changed during the server-migration but you need to upgrade the link. Are you using modem accelerator? Let it update the addresses stored.

Hope this helps...

One more point, test a right-click on the mail-link on the PPRuNe welcome page and than OPEN IN NEW BROWSER, you may be lucky...

Sorry, maybe didn't express myself properly. My browser jumps to that link by itself as soon as I clik on the Chat link on the navbar. I've also tried typing the URL directly, but t the same result. Absolute PITA.

Not actually a solution to your exact problem, but try this, and set it in your faves if it works for you :)

That's for chat anyway
