advertising screwing up pprune?
Everytime I try to access chat or pprune mail, I get following...
http://www.ppruneadvertising.com/cgi...ssi.cgi?iframe Followed by the "cannot find server" error. Is this my pc or something with the new software? |
the link you posted here is in fact the link to advertisement and banners, this way PPRuNe receives some £ as a referrer.
The link to the mail should read http://pprune.mail.everyone.net/ and leads to the mail-front page. I am not sure whether this link has changed during the server-migration but you need to upgrade the link. Are you using modem accelerator? Let it update the addresses stored. Hope this helps... One more point, test a right-click on the mail-link on the PPRuNe welcome page and than OPEN IN NEW BROWSER, you may be lucky... |
Sorry, maybe didn't express myself properly. My browser jumps to that link by itself as soon as I clik on the Chat link on the navbar. I've also tried typing the URL directly, but t the same result. Absolute PITA.

Not actually a solution to your exact problem, but try this, and set it in your faves if it works for you :)
http://www.pprune.org/chat/chaty.htm That's for chat anyway  GG |
