FS 2002 & Joystick probs

Please HELP

We have recently purchased FS 2002 up here at the Cat Tower but we're having problems with our Sidewinder Pro Joystick. After about 2 or 3mins into the flying the control only lets you turn one way or puts you into a nose dive and doesn't allow you to pull out of it. We have calibrated the joystick many times but can't seem to fix the problem.

Can anyone suggest a way that we can fix it.

Still happening ? I had the same problem using Win98SE but
downloaded the latest driver off the web - have since upgraded to XP and getting similar problems with stick control - driver related again I would guess...best of luck !
