The ads are back ...
I have recently accepted the gracious invitation to 'upgrade' to Firefox version 15. In the process, the much appreciated Adblock add on seems have been banished, and the ads are back.
I see that there are about nine different options for re-installing it. I would appreciate any advice / direction as to just what to use this time around; preferably something which is free from adverse side effects. Thanks in advance (and for all the good stuff which is so generously shared in this forum), FoR |
Adblock Plus 2.1.2 working on my FF 15.0.1

As indeed it does on FF V16beta which I'm running.

just go to the Firefox plugins menu and download the latest Adblock version. It works, why change
FWIW my machines have all updated without throwing any wobblies like this |
I agree with the last three posts! ABP is working fine on FF 15.0.1

going off at a tangent, if you want something similar for IE, take a look at "Do Not Track Plus" from Do Not Track Plus
I installed it on this laptop yesterday and it seems to be doing a pretty good job of suppressing adverts (sorry PPrune) so far |
Thanks all.
Adblock Plus 2.1.2 installed (again perhaps- there really was no trace of it :suspect:). Ads gone Operator happy :ok: |
