Is anyone else getting this header on all PPRuNe pages? If so, why is it happening?

You see that message because the idiots at PowWeb who host my advertising scripts have decided to turn off my access because the scripts are too busy for their servers. Unfortunately they always do this without notification and when I am away from base.

All advertisers will be reinstated when I move the scripts to a different server and get my legal eagles onto powweb.com for compensation because of their pathetic service. Extra days will be added to all currently running accounts.

Why this was posted on Reporting Points I don't know, especially by someone who should know better. Moving it to Computer & Internet Issues.

Danny - it was posted on what used to be 'news' because that's the quickest way to elicit a response. I fully accept your right to move this post to the depths of the wirehead forum, but I find your intemperate comment rather disappointing. Although it is your train set and we are very grateful for all your work.

Danny I don't knowanything about PowWeb, but as one who has been involved in setting up and maintaining a similiar site I can only sympathise with your ISP difficulties. The host we used let us down at monotonously regular intervals, usually when it was most inconvenient (like when I went on holiday) and always without any notice. They would never apologise for their actions, even when they were forced to acknowledge them.

Does anyone out there know of a truly honest and reliable web host, because I am beginning to think the whole trade is run by shysters and cowboys.

Maybe there's a business opportunity here Danny for a web hosting service provider with some integrity to become the ISP of choice to the aviation sector.
