Ubuntu Precise Pangolin: spell checking in Firefox
 

Anybody know if I can change the spell checker from American to English in Firefox? It has a spell check tick box but no where I can see to set the preferred language. Thanks.

I don't know if it's the same when you're using nix but FireFox running in windows, providing you have a UK English dictionary installed, then, when you open a dialogue box if you right click and go to the 'language' option you can select English UK or English US

Ah it was as simple as installing the British dictionary add-on. Thanks! Now I can write colour, endeavour, reveller etc. without lots of red underlines!
