LinkedIn and email passwords
 

I followed a link request from LinkedIn on my email, and it asked for my email password (the one to access my email from my service provider). Are they serious, or is this some scam email fishing for passwords?

The message was (or was alleged to have been) sent from: [email protected]

nah, it's the one you registered with, mine does the same - email address + email logon pwd, works for me ;)

They offer the option of going through your email, so they can check email addresses against their database and find your existing contacts. I just said no to it - don't see the point.
