Windows Media Player and YouTube
I am running Windows 7 and browse the internet using Google Chrome.
However, I've noticed recently that if I try to view anything on YouTube whilst having Windows Media Player (v12) open, I get no sound at all from the YouTube player. This, even if nothing is actually playing on WMP. As soon as I close down WMP, YouTube will play with sounds. Anyone have any sensible ideas/suggestions as to what is causing the lack of sound from YouTube? It's not simply a case of YouTube being muted. |
I would suggest WMP takes priority use of the sound channel, just as my TV card does over WMP, YT, etc..
