The latest Firefox appears awfully buggy in my opinion. It's a massive shame as I love its expandability and endless add-on functionality.
I was also getting endless crashes, especially when using high Java content sites such as flightradar24.com Back to using Google Chrome now, and its going pretty well! |
Been running Firefox 7.0.1 for some time without any issues.
When you say a "Java Plug-in" can you be a little more specific? Is this a Firefox plug-in - if so - which? There is also a hit for this on Mozilla which suggests that it can be caused by the McAfee Site Advisor extension. If you are running that then disable it in the Add-on Manager tab.

Are you sure you are not confused it with Javascript? |

I had issues with 7 and am back on 4. One major whinge is that banks etc are very slow to 'accredit'/'approve' the latest FFox and each time I have upgraded 50% have refused me access due to an 'unapproved browser' and I have had to resort to...yes, I admit it.... .
