Question on forum search

Wondering if there is a help document available for the forum search. I can't seem to get any sensible results with basic or advanced searches. The results don't match the given keywords in any way and usually I end up with 300+ threads listed none of which have the words I searched for.

Forget the lousy forum search. Use Google.

Stick the below in the search box.

site:pprune.org your_search_terms_go_here

You can then, for example, use google's time filter tools to narrow down your resultset.

As I said, use Google. Then you can search a million times per minute if you want.
