cd/dvd eject button

Hi
I know this may be a bit long winded but hear goes.
Due to the button for the cd/dvd eject button on my computer being inoperable I have one on my desktop screen which works just as well. Whe I try to load a MULTI DISK prog I can load the first disk "OK" as I can see the screen with the eject button on,but when it asks for a Second Disk I can't see the original screen which is now covered up ?? Does anybody have ANY ideas how I could resolve this (without smashing the computer up)" Ps" I am using Windows Vista :confused::confused:.

DVD eject button on Windows ? I always thought it was just the button on the front of the CD drive ? As far as I know only macs have an eject button (aka F12).

Have you looked on your task bar for minimised windows ?

A new cd/dv drive is $20.

Use a pin to manually eject.

Doesn't ALT-TAB allow you to cycle between windows?

Or can't you just drag the window asking for the next disk out of the way?

My Computer, right click the DVD drive and click 'eject'.
