Flash update
I keep getting pestered by a notification of a new version. Install? it says.
Trouble is, the stupid thing appears at very early bootup and causes the computer to hang while it's there, so there's no chance of it dowloading because it's jumped in ahead of the network loading and it's stopping it from doing so! I thought about doing it manually, but I can't find where Flash hides on the HD. Any ideas? (XP) |
If you really want it, go to Adobe's website & download it there. probably make the auto update go away too.

Not that I'm paranoid, but Sprogget's advice is sound.
If you go to the source of the software you know it's pukka. Flash is nasty because it can hide all sorts of bad !!!!. Just ask RSA. |
