Opera shutdown
 

Occasionally I have had problems with Opera where I go to start it and it tells me it's already running, i.e. not shut down from last time.

This was fairly infrequent but it's happening quite a lot now, meaning I have to close it in Task Manager before I can start it.

Any thoughts on a cure?

I think my last update was V.10

I get this with FireFox occasionally but it's very rare nowadays.

Yes, so do I. Again, it's more rare now...touch wood.

Sometimes hard to find it in Task Manager. Don't know where it hides.

I'm using version 11.1 - perchance an upgrade will sort it out?

Also uninstall followed by re-install could also sort it.

You could also check the Opera forums here to see if anyone else has this issue.

Older versions used to have this problem but I have had no problems with v11.

Firefox 4 is as close to Opera as I've found, someday I'll have the best of all worlds!
