Google is your friend! "create screensaver vista" is a good search string...
I assume that you do want to make a screensaver, as opposed to apply your own picture as desktop wallpaper. If the latter, do let us know! SD |
I think Picasa offers a 'Make this my desktop picture' option, quite possibly screensaver option there too.

If you mean screensaver - as above.
if you mean desktop wallpaper, then under Windows 7 I put mine in C: \Wallpapers and told the desktop "Personalise" function where they are. I suspect Vista will do the same. I think the default location for them was umpteen levels down in some obscure file path that I would never remember. The simple method above works fine for me. I've collected all the desktop pix I like into that one location. |
Control Panel > Appearance & Personalisation > Change Screensaver > Settings
Check what you want, Apply, OK |
Or do what I eventually did after fighting Vista for too long - upgrade to W7.
