No Sound on Youtube clips

Just today, for no obvious reason, when accessing Youtube URLs on my wife's HP laptop, running Vista, there is no sound. All settings look normal and the inbuilt sound system works in other modes, just not this one.

Any ideas or advice please? Thanks.

In addition to the stuff in that link, and updating your Flash player, you could also check that you haven't muted your browser in Sound Mixer (on Vista and 7) - click the sound icon in the system tray (bottom right) and choose Mixer. You may have to scroll to the right after that.
