iphone 4 ical sync
Just bought a new iphone 4.
I found how to download roster onto Mac computer but syncing with iPhone doesn't seem to upload it onto the phone? What am I doing wrong? Ta:ok: |
Connect your iPhone to your Mac, open iTunes if it doesn't open automatically and select the iPhone in the sidebar. Wait for it to sync (it probably will, even if you synced it 10 minutes ago). At the top of the iPhone page you'll see a button marked "Info". Select it and then scroll down the page The third item on the list is Calendars. Tick the "sync iCal Calendars" check box, select the calendars you want to sync and select sync again at the bottom right of the main screen.
That should work. STP |

Another tip. I don't know how much you've been using iCal but when you get the inevitable roster changes, the best way to avoid duplication is to either delete the calendar which contains your roster (Select on sidebar > Edit > Delete) then create a new one before you import the new roster, or select each roster event on your calendar while holding the Shift key down and delete them when they're all highlighted. By doing this, you'll avoid having 2 lots of roster events on one calendar and the associated pain of trying to sort out which is which. When you've deleted the old roster, import the new one and then sync the iPhone again.

Anyone know how to import a "SABRE" roster into iCal and then onto an iPod touch, or iPhone.
